home_left.jpgFounded in Black History Month, on February 1, 2006, the GBBCC is committed to serving a beacon of hope to Black-owned businesses operating in the Greater Baltimore Metropolitan area. Serving the Howard County, Baltimore County and Baltimore City area, the GBBCC has members from across the central part of Maryland including our target counties as well as members from Anne Arundel County and Prince Georges County.

Our general meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month at Coppin State University's Talon Hall at 7:00pm and are free and open to the public.

New members meet exclusively at 6:30pm for a half hour prior to the 7:00pm general meeting.

Our meetings are exciting, educational and entertaining with a business format. Each month the GBBCC features a guest speaker or a panel discussion on a selected business topic. Our speakers have included Ms. Dorothy Brunson, Kweis Mfume, Congressman Elijah Cummings, Michael Cryor and The Honorable Daniel Johnson, the former Mayor of Liberia, Africa.

Our panel discussions have included diverse topics such as The ABCs of Prospecting and Driving Sales. Are You Ready for Business and Business Plans and Financing your Business.
